Cake Batter Pudding

Life gets harder as you get older.

Because . . .

When you are one or two years old, you are the baby of the family and everyone loves you.

Then when you are three, another kid may come along, and you are not the baby anymore.

When you turn four, you don't get to stay home and play all day. You go to preschool.

When you are five, you don't get to go to play at "school" with blocks for only two hours. Instead you go to a real school where you learn numbers and how to read.

When you are in first grade, you don't just stay half the day. You stay all day long.

Second grade, meh, just as hard as first grade.

Third grade. ISATs. Welcome to heck.

Fourth grade. Oh. No. The math is suddenly the hardest thing you have ever seen. Totally new stuff, long division, long multiplication, not just addition and subtraction.

Fifth grade, one recess.

Sixth grade. Middle School. So so so much harder than elementary school. Lockers, different classes, not being with friends, finals in math, etc. etc. etc.

Seventh Grade. No longer having classes all on one hall, where everyone stays in the same part of school. Moving around to second floor, third floor, first floor and the mods all day long.

Eight grade. Common core standards coupled with ISATs meant to drive you insane

9th grade. High School. Nuff said.

10th grade. Grades are more important than ever! Study, study, study, extra credit, hoping you don't mess up.

11th grade. Grades are super duper important. Just like before.

12th grade. Very important. Trying to get scholarships, or even just get accepted! into a college.

College. Very hard, very expensive, very important.

Being single.

Getting married. Buying house, furniture, wedding dress.

Having kids. Paying for them, and caring for them.

Having more kids.

Getting old. Hospital bills

So yeah, life starts out easy and gets harder and harder and harder.

Busier busier busier busier.

When your life is so busy, there's not much time for slaving in the kitchen.

Enter, Cake Batter Pudding.

Cake Batter Pudding
One of the easiest and most decadent treats you'll ever have!
Serves:4   Prep Time:3 min.   Total Time: 3 min.
Ingredients:

• 1 small box of vanilla pudding 
• 2 cups cold milk
• 1/2 tsp butter flavor *optional*
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup of funfetti cake mix
• sprinkles (not nonpareils)

Directions: Pour 2 cups of milk into a bowl. Add pudding mix and stir in slowly (lowest level on a KitchenAid or beater, a little slower than normal by hand) Add cake mix and flavorings. Stir. Add sprinkles and serve

Notes: You can add more or less cake mix to see how you like it, same with the flavorings. I don't know how many ounces a small pudding box weighs, but just know that the Great Value Walmart brand always make their boxes small.

So this is one of my favorite recipes ever EVER. Ever since I made this, I have never made plain vanilla pudding. Never. That's how good this is.

And it only takes three minutes to put together (literally three minutes!)

So if you added the eating and the washing of dishes, all of this only takes ten minutes.

I've made this tons of times, and there's usually leftovers (because I am naughty and do not like to share with my family, instead I hide it behind the pickles to eat tomorrow). I pulled some out of the fridge, and it was so cold!

I warmed it up in the microwave and . . .

It was the best decision I ever made. EVER. It is sooo good when it's warm, it tastes so much more cake battery, and all the flavors shine, and blend and and and, and you just need to do it! So yeah, warm this up!
